Reiki Healing

The word Reiki (pronounced Ray-Key) is made up from two Japanese words Rei which means Higher Power or God’s Wisdom and Ki which is Life Force Energy. Put them together and the word Reiki means Energy from a Higher Power.

Reiki is Healing. There is an on going argument that Reiki and Healing are two separate things. Please experience a treatment and decide for yourself.

TECHNIQUE

There is nothing required of the client except to lie quietly on a treatment couch while the practitioner or healer lightly places their hands on the client.

The treatment is given clothed.

There are 22 areas of the body, front and back, that the hands are placed on during a treatment.

Indian Head Massage

TECHNIQUE

An Indian Head Massage is a relaxing massage of the face, scalp, neck, shoulders and upper arms.

The practitioner kneads, strokes. The treatment is given clothed without the use of oils.

Some clients like to have their shoulders bare to enable the practitioner to work directly on to the skin. This is purely a clients choice.

Ayurvedic Natural Face Lift

TECHNIQUE

I use special creams or oils for the special massage technique used.

The face and neck are given a unique massages.

Thai Foot Massage

TECHNIQUE

Thai Foot Massage is a massage of the lower legs and feet.
The pressure points on the bottom of the feet are worked on.
Toes are stretched and ankles massaged to soothe away the strains that are placed on this sometimes overlooked part of the body.
The lower legs are given a massage to help release tension in the calf muscles

Seated Back Rub

TECHNIQUE

The practitioner uses thumbs, fingers, knuckles and elbows to stimulate the meridians.
The back, neck, head and arms are all massaged.
 Accupressure is used to help stimulate and unblock the meridians.

The On Site Seated Back Rub is so called in that it is a convenient for someone to receive the benefits of a good back rub at home, at work or at an exhibition. Because of the convenience of this popular treatment I am able to take it to corporate settings such as offices. People can usually be back at their desk in about half an hour. If you are a owner of a company or a manager it is a beneficial morale booster for staff. It is also proving to be popular at some of the pamper evenings that I am invited along to. Here people can relax in a home atmosphere or function room to enjoy the treatment in a relaxed space.
